Yakumo Fujii is just a casual high school boy whose dad disappeared 4 years ago to search through Tibet after these three eyes beings, as the crazy demon hunter he is, a legendary race that was given the gift of immortality, eternal youth. One night when Yakumo is late for work, as usual, he almost runs this girl over with his moped. Since there's a lack of time and he almost killed her he takes her with him to his job, at a gay restaurant, and tries to find out more about her. Soon he got to know that she’s looking for someone and this someone she's so desperate to find is himself and that she's got a letter to him from his father. With the letter does Yakumos now dead father beg him to take Pai (the girl ^^) to Hong Kong and make her human. Yes! Of course Pai is the last 3 eyed creature, demon thingy called the Sanjiyan Unkara left on earth and her biggest wish is to become a human, which she thinks it the key to happiness. On the way home, they're attacked by this giant bird demon, Pai's friend, and get to face a brutal death. But Pai brings him back to life as her Wuu and Yakumo is forever bound to her destiny.

Yakumo Fujii: Ah, gee, I will never forget the first episode when we get to know Yakumo. The funny thing about him is that he always dies. Always. In the first episode he like died every 10 mins. But it's kind of sweet how he gives up his life to help Pai (though he doesn't have that much of a choice), I know it's such a cliché and all that but, no, not in 3x3 eyes. Yakumo is funny and he's cute, my fav character in this series!

Pai/Sanjiyan: She's so... innocent and.. Sweet.. devoted.. Boring. I don't really like her personality. She's too reserved in a way. But of course this is how she should be, don't get me wrong, it's perfect for the plot and all, I just can't stand her. The Sanjiyan on the other hand, is so cool. When that little eye in her forehead opens and she pulls that look, she reminds me a little bit of Ceres from Ayashi No Ceres.

Takuhi: One cool demon bird!

I did not really notice any music at all... so I guess they kind of failed the music part = /. But the sound effects on the other hand and the voice actors, perfect, absolutely perfect.

Great. The gore, ah. One thing that annoyed me through all the episodes was Yakumos eyes. He opened them like twice! The guy walked around with closed eyes, looking awfully happy. Though people died around him. I hated that. But part from that, great animation. Huge gore plus.

I really liked 3x3 Eyes. It was really good and I strongly recommend it!

Great storyline, gripping to the end, anime is above average for its time
