After successfully completing his entire course for graduation at a university, he left to explore life to the fullest. Whether taking odd jobs or just riding homelessly, Kintaro does it all. As all normal stories, it begins our new hero, Kintaro, riding a bicycle singing with his walk-man on. Little did he now a sports car going 150 towards him throwing him off course. After having an unusual conversation with the driver of the sports car, whom is a female with large, let's say boobies, he realizes that his bike is broken. Of course, he fixes the bike at a local bike shop which in turn was in debt to a couple of Yakuzas, Japanese gangsters. Wow wee, it appears that reason Kintaro was heading to a new ALL WOMEN computer company. What's the surprise? His boss is the sports car lady! All hell breaks loose for Kintaro when his boss starts putting the pressure on his ability to work among his young, pretty, and clad female co-workers.This is only part of 1 of 6 episodes and all of them contain huge amounts of laughter that was put together by some really good scriptwriters. Whether Kintaro is trying to hit on his female counterparts (literally) or having the weird urge to hug toilets, Golden boy brings out the laughter in anyone. This anime isn't just about cheap laughs but indicates about the lighter side of society. These guys know quality! Like some anime, these episodes are actually Ova and not made season-wise. Golden Boy truly deserves 10, no questions asked of course. Of course, those who do not wish to watch this anime can read the mange where it was originated. All of them, except for episode 6, are actually based on the manga.

Each episode contains a whole new brand of characters and each character is vivid with emotions. There are dumb ones, evil ones, naïve ones and many more. Once again, you'll have to trust me on this, the characters truly deserves a 10. I really won't want to spoil the fun because discovering the characters are what make this anime full of laughter.

The intro started out pretty well, but in the end it annoyed me. However, Golden boy got the money shot in the music department around 80% of the time. I recommend the ending song because it really rock Love Hina-wise. I do admit, that the music isn't really that good because it's quite out-dated but the ability to blend it with the video is all that matters.

If you are an Ah my goddess or even You're Under Arrest fan, you'll soon realize the company that drew the two series created that Golden boy. For me, I always like the way their technique in drawing and I would've given Golden boy a 10. However, there are some sections of Golden boy that requires a little more touchups because they seem extremely out of proportional.

This is a GREAT anime because... 1. The voice for the main character in fits him I prefer English for this... 2. The Comedy is DEFINITELY for all Guys 3. The art is pretty Unique 4. I don't know how it could be bad except if you are feminist, or if you havn't seen the first episode............................. Bad Part is 1. There is only 6 episodes 2. The music, I'm not sure about it... 3. I wish there were more... 4. I don't know what other bad things there are except it is old like Berserk, or Cowboy Bebop, or One Piece, but it's pretty unique in it's own way, but it might not be what you expect. IT's just an anime for comedy. A Short Anime for comedy. If you don't know Golden Boy, then it's a must watch, for ALL guys... IF you don't want to believe me ask anybody who has seen the first episode of Golden Boy, the WHOLE first episode. Just to tell you, it doesn't COMPARE to any extremely famous anime, like Bleach, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, One Piece, Death Note, Or Berserk, but as I said, if you expect too much, like the Movie 300 I had too high of an expectation, I thought it wasn't as good as the trailers made it to be ~Later!!

Well this anime is great, very very funny! it';s better than negima and love hina and gto in a kind of way if you love those anime, there is a moral in the end of the story. Read the manga! it is excellent!

I remember when this anime was first release, it was hillarious. Maybe at the time, it's the best one around. I gota give it credit.
